WSVG 2007 Storms LA in October
Posted on August 27th, 2007 in Events
The World Series of Video Games (WSVG) international tour hits Los Angeles, California next month to once again separate the true gamers from the noobs. From October 18-21st Players will compete in popular titles such as World of Warcraft, Quake 4, Guitar Hero 2, Fight Night Round 3, along with other competition favorites. Show your 1337 gaming skills (or lack thereof) or just bear witness the carnage first hand, either way it should literally be a blast.
$90,000 in cold hard cash and prizes will be awarded at the event to those who prove themselves worthy. That’s enough green to buy a hardcore gaming system, a flashy new ride (to get out of the house more), and maybe even a girlfriend. Sponsors for WSVG LA include Intel, Nvidia, Creative, Patriot Memory, and Cyber Evolution. CBS Sports will be providing on site coverage for all the competitions.
WSVG 2007 will be held at the LA Convention Center in conjunction with the Entertainment for All™ Expo (E for All), a premier video game festival where you’ll be able to check out the latest releases, gaming technology, and get your hands on some on some free loot.
