Today NCsoft and ArenaNet released the first official expansion to the award-winning Guild Wars franchise. Guild Wars: Eye of the North comes stocked to the brim with 18 multi-level dungeons, 150 new skills across 10 professions, 10 new Heroes, 40 armor sets, along with new items, weapons, and titles.

Guild Wars: Eye of the North goes back to the original Tyria lands and stories to tie up some loose ends that fans have been anxious about. Also GW:EN creates a link for player to Guild Wars 2 which is scheduled to go into public beta in the third quarter of 2008. With the addition of the Hall of Monuments, players can preserve armor sets, pets, Heroes, and titles earned over the past couple years and carry them into GW2.
