GCDC 2007

Game developers from the around the globe will gather in Leipzig, Germany next week for the GC Developers Conference (GCDC). As the international level of gaming has grown in the past few years GCDC has been keeping pace as a forum for PC, game console, and mobile entertainment developers. Participants in this event will gain new perspectives into the future of technical and economic best practices in the video game industry.

GCDC 2007 kicks off on August 20th with three full day of seminars from industry players such as Intel, Sony, Electronic Arts (EA), just to name a few. Hot topics that will be discussed include Harnessing the Power of DirectX 10, The Future of the MMO Industry, and How to Get the Girl (to play your games that is). While game development isn’t all work and no play, we still expect attendees to get their drink on afterhours with several social events planned by the sponsors. Check out the full GCDC 2007 schedule to map out your days if you plan on attending.

Live media coverage of all GCDC 2007 events will be available through Krawall Gaming Networks, hopefully in English.
